Faith, Family & Health — Why I Started This Blog
After Charlie Kirk’s martyrdom on 9.10.25, I felt a deep ache in my heart. That life-shaking event made me pause and reflect on my own life. I quickly developed a much greater desire to impact God’s Kingdom. That hunger led me to start this faith, family, and health blog.
What have I done — or not done — for the Kingdom beyond my first priorities as a wife and mother?
I’ve carried so many passions from my Creator. This heartbreaking event has fueled me to start sharing online. I want to see how I might serve others with my voice.
My heart and prayer is that this blog points to Jesus in all things. I hope to bring encouragement, lift others up, and offer fresh perspective as we journey together in faith, family, and health.
Trusting God’s Plan When You Don’t Have It All Figured Out
Ephesians 2:8-10 (NIV) For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith – and it is not from yourselves, it is a gift from God – not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
This post is proof that you don’t have to have everything figured out to start saying “yes” to God. Often, faith looks like taking the next small step — trusting that He’s already gone before you.
You can trust that God’s calling on your life will always fit who He created you to be — He equips you for the very things He calls you to. Even when you’re serving Him in quiet or unseen ways, remember that walking in your calling matters. Someone is always watching your example, and every faithful act plants important seeds for others!
Walking in Your Calling With Faith and Purpose
Romans 12: 1-2 (TPT) Beloved friends, what should be our proper response to God’s marvelous mercies? To surrender yourselves to God to be his sacred, living sacrifices. And live in holiness, experiencing all that delights his heart. For this becomes your genuine expression of worship. Stop imitating the ideals and opinions of the culture around you, but be inwardly transformed by the Holy Spirit through a total reformation of how you think. This will empower you to discern God’s will as you live a beautiful life, satisfying and perfect in his eyes.
